TRU in Barriere

The Barriere and Clearwater TRU Centres publish a joint course schedule every fall and winter semester. We try to offer a balance of adult upgrading, academic and general interest courses whenever possible.

We are constantly developing new courses and always try to deliver any course where there is sufficient demand.

Thompson Rivers University is pleased to be working with Barriere Employment Services. This partnership provides a “one stop shop” for your employment educational and training needs.

class in computer lab In case of sufficient demand (usually, but not always, a minimum of 5 students), we offer computer courses in our up-to-date computer lab. This state of the art facility boasts 9 computer stations with Windows XP Professional and Office XP software.

First Aid and other related workplace safety courses are offered every fall and winter semester, and recently we expanded our general interest courses to include photography and belly dancing.
